In de toepassingen om een afspraak te maken, moet de patient steeds éénduidig geïdentificeerd woirden. Dat kan door een profiel aan te maken met bijbehorend paswoord. Vaak worden deze gegevens in de vorm van cookies lokaal bewaard.<br/>In geval de patient telefonisch contact neemt met de voorschrijver, wordt de afspraak in de voorschrijfsoftware beheerd. De identificatie van de patient gebeurt dan informeel.<br/><br/>
